My marquetry is handcut from wood veneer with a craft knife and carefully assembled, either in an organic way with the geometric pieces, or from a variety of reference pictures and drawings for the architectural pictures.
The veneers used are largely sourced from second-hand marquetry packs and the plywood backings from joinery work offcuts.
